All is set for a sterling performance by the King of Fuji music, K1 De Ultimate at the inauguration of the 5th democratically elected President of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari.
K1, a regular feature at major political campaigns and rallies of the All Progressives Congress (APC) across the old Western Region and parts of North Central, was always a crowd puller and a delight at all outings.
His music laced with deep philosophical meanings and political messages that enlighten the masses has drawn him to both the ruling class and the masses.
At major rallies, his well thought out songs are dished out intermittently to buttress declarations and speeches. With rich compositions that appeal and have strong influence on listeners, he instantly becomes the go-to musician at political rallies. His knowledge of Nigerian politics, vis-a-vis major players makes him a leader in his constituency.
It is on record that as a loyal party- man, he single-handedly donated 400 state- of-the-art public address systems (PAS) to various All Progressives Congress (APC) Wards alongside millions of wristbands embossed with the pictures of the party’s Presidential candidate, Muhammadu Buhari and the Lagos gubernatorial candidate, Akinwunmi Ambode.
As part of his contributions to the campaign for change, K1 recorded two special albums with songs in three major Nigerian languages to drum up support for all the candidates of the party contesting at the immediate past General Elections.
As at Thursday afternoon, K1`s team of engineers, bandsmen, road manager and manager, have arrived the Eagle`s Square, Abuja venue of the inauguration, sound checking for the career defining performance.
