A suspected armed robber had policemen laughing when he confessed that one of the bags he and his gang snatched a bag from a victim, thinking they had hit big money, turned out to contain faeces and a female adult pant.
The suspect, Adekanmi Najim, 25, was arrested on January 28, 2015 by policemen attached to the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, Ikeja, Lagos State Police Command.
Najim was arrested at Oshodi.
Aside from Najim, the other gang members were simply identified as Sunday and Taye.
Najim said Sunday and Taye introduced him to robbery.
Najim noted that it was during the last operation of the gang that they snatched a woman’s bag containing baby’s diaper filled with faeces.
Najim said: “In our last operation before we were arrested, we snatched a woman’s bag. We thought the bag was filled with money and other valuables, so we decided to close early that day and went home to share our loot. We were shocked to find baby shit and the woman’s pant inside the bag.”
The gang’s waterloo started after the members went to have a nice time at Mushin and decided to go for an operation at the Oshodi area at night.
When policemen sighted three men on motorbike, they flagged them.
But rather than halt, the rider attempted to escape.
The rider and his motorbike crashed.
While Sunday and Taye disappeared into the night, Najim was not so lucky.
Najim was arrested and a gun recovered from him.
He was later used as bait to arrest Sunday and Taye.
According to the police, Najim, a commercial motorcyclist robber, and his gang members had been terrorising Lagos and Ogun States axis for long.
The gang’s hideout is Mushin.
Najim confessed that he had once been arrested and even sent to prison for threatening a man who had sex with his girlfriend.
He was only released in December and apparently is on his way to prison again if he is found guilty for robbery by a competent court.
Najim said: “We’ve snatched three motorbikes in Sango-Ota Ogun State. We’ve also snatched bags and other valuable goods from people. We usually sell the motorbikes to a man called Baba Ijora in Mushin. We also have another buyer at Cotonou. We sold the first motorbike to a man in Cotonou at the rate of N35,000 while the second and third were sold to Baba Ijora at the rate of N30,000 and N40,000.”

President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan Thursday in Mubi, Adamawa State and Baga, Borno State applauded Nigerian troops for proving their mettle once again through the rapid recapture of territories formerly held by insurgents in the country’s North-Eastern states. Addressing officers and men of the Nigerian Army in both towns, which were recently recaptured from Boko Haram, President Jonathan declared that he and all Nigerians were very proud of the bravery, competence and patriotism with which they were now undertaking operations to expel the insurgents from all parts of Borno, Yobe and Adamawa states.
The President said that with their recent successes, which have overwhelmingly turned the tide against Boko Haram, the Nigerian military has proven beyond any doubt that it remains fully capable of defending the territorial integrity of Nigeria.
The military’s recent victories against Boko Haram, President Jonathan told the troops, have also proven conclusively that all those, within and outside the country, who cast aspersions on Nigerian soldiers and questioned their ability and willingness to overcome the insurgents were misinformed and wrong.
President Jonathan, who was accompanied on the trip by the National Security Adviser, Col. Sambo Dasuki and all the Service Chiefs, assured the troops that the Federal Government will ensure that they receive all the equipment and logistics they require to complete the ongoing mission to reassert government’s effective control over all areas formerly held by Boko Haram.
The President promised the soldiers that all issues pertaining to their welfare will be properly and expeditiously addressed. He assured them that they will be duly rewarded for their bravery and patriotic service to the nation at the successful conclusion of ongoing operations against Boko Haram.
Families of soldiers who have sadly lost their lives in battles against Boko Haram will also be well provided for, the President further assured the troops.
The soldiers responded to the President’s address with chants of “Never Again” and assured him that insurgents and terrorists will never again be allowed to take and hold any Nigerian territory.
While in Mubi, President Jonathan, accompanied by the Governor of Adamawa State, Mr. Bala Ngilari and the Minister of Youth Development, Mr. Bonnie Haruna, paid a courtesy call on the Emir, Alhaji Isa Ahmadu.
He assured the Emir that the Federal Government will do all within its powers to ensure that normalcy is speedily returned to Mubi and other towns and settlements recently recaptured from Boko Haram to enable displaced persons return to their homes in the shortest possible time.
President Jonathan also undertook an aerial inspection of other towns and areas recently recaptured from Boko Haram including Monguno. Before returning to Abuja, the President met and conferred with the Borno State Governor, Alhaji Kashim Shettima in Maiduguri.

Lady who collected $20,000 to arrange rented crowd for Jonathan in London uncovered

Adijatu, Chatham-House-protest-leader-595x240
The lady who organised the rented crowd that protested at the Chatham House in London on Thursday on behalf of President Goodluck Jonathan has been uncovered.
The lady, who gave her name simply as Adijatu towards the end of the video attached to this report, said she organised the 100 persons from Manchester in the United Kingdom for the purpose of the pro-Jonathan protest.
The rented crowd also protested against the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Major General Muhammadu Buhari.
As earlier reported, a member of the President Jonathan campaign team and the Assistant Director of Civil Society and Support Groups in the Diaspora, Chief Peter Mozie, had requested for $20,000 to mobilise some Nigerians in the United Kingdom to protest at Chatham House where Buhari was to deliver a speech on Thursday.
A memo, addressed to the Director of Civil Society and Support Groups, Prof. Nick Eze, and copied to the Special Adviser to President Goodluck Jonathan on Political Affairs, Prof. Rufai Alkali, said different persons at the venue of the anti-Buhari rally will have various talking points.
Adijatu, who first identified herself as Abi, confirmed on video that she mobilised the persons who came to the venue.
She said they came in six buses.
She said unlike Buhari with low spending power, Jonathan was a heavy spender.
She equally said she could organise such crowd for anyone in need of such.
Asked if she was the one who pocketed the $20,000 budgeted for the rally, she simply laughed and moved on to other discussions.

3 killed, vehicles burnt as NURTW, hoodlums clash at the densely populated Oshodi area of Lagos

HoodlumsdestroySafejoMotorparksandMarketinOshodiLagos2Commercial activities were grounded for the better part of yesterday at the densely populated Oshodi area of Lagos, following a renewed clash between factions of the National Union of Transport Workers, NURTW, which left three persons dead and several others injured.
Several vehicles were also burnt by the rampaging motor park touts, who freely engaged themselves with dangerous weapons. Police sources put the number of vehicles burnt at 11, while traders who partially witnessed the fracas, said over 30 vehicles were burnt.
Among those who lost their lives was a man said to have been hit by a stray bullet while on his way to work. His identity was given as Mr Amuche Ogbonna.
Although the Lagos State Police Command confirmed that only one person lost his life, according toVanguard  three persons were killed in the mayhem.
Yesterday’s clash was a spillover from last week’s supremacy fight over control of parks in the Oshodi area by NURTW members, which was allegedly hijacked by urchins, commonly called Area Boys. It reportedly started at Babalola area of Mushin last Thursday between members of the union and some loyalists of political parties, and later spread to other parts of Mushin and Oshodi, where scores of persons were injured and about nine vehicles burnt.
Trouble started, yesterday, when some law enforcement agents carried out a raid in Mosafejo area in the process of which 20 hoodlums who reside in motor parks were arrested.fall
Raiding of Mosafejo area
The raid, led to an argument between the factions. While a faction hailed the action, the rival faction whose members were arrested kicked against it, saying it was orchestrated by its rival faction. The argument degenerated into a fight where one of the factions was reportedly overpowered.
However, things got worse, yesterday, after the defeated faction reinforced and launched a counter attack. The counter attack was said to have started as early as 3.30 a.m., after one of the warring factions was said to have stormed Mosafejo market and set some commercial buses parked inside a park there ablaze. The burnt vehicles were said to belong to members of the rival faction.
In the process, two fire trucks said to be on their way to contain a fire incident involving a warehouse at Kayode Street, Onipanu area of the state, were prevented from continuing their journey. But for providence, the fire trucks would have also been set ablaze by the rampaging groups.
When news of the invasion reached the rival faction, they stormed the market and started burning all the commercial vehicles in the park.
Owners of some of the parked commercial buses, who got wind of the fracas reportedly rushed to the park with a view to salvaging their vehicles. Unfortunately, some of them reportedly lost them to the fire.
A victim speaks:
One of the victims; Okechukwu Emmanuel, told Vanguard, “I heard the report at 4a.m. When I rushed down, the whole place was on fire. I attempted rushing into the park to take my buses which I bought on hire purchase. But I was almost choked by thick smoke. I had to leave when members of the warring faction were approaching where I was.”
The incident caused a gridlock on both ends of the busy expressway. Traders on their part could not open their shops for the better part of the day. Several motorists, who dared to drive through the war zone had their windscreens smashed while hoodlums cashed in on the crisis to dispossess innocent and helpless Lagosians of their valuables.
Text messages were sent to loved ones to avoid the route . As at 4p.m., the gridlock caused by the crisis was still evident.
Quelling the situation
It reportedly took the joint effort of both conventional and Mobile policemen including soldiers from the 9 Brigade of the Ikeja Cantonment, to quell the situation.
At press time, pedestrians were asked to raise their hands and walk by soldiers, in order to filter innocent passersby from hoodlums, who might want to take advantage of the crowd to flee.
Spokesman for the Lagos State Police Command, Kenneth Nwosu, disclosed that nine persons have been arrested in connection with the mayhem, saying that only one person died in the crisis.

RIP Beautiful Valerie

The question is Does Life worth dying for because of MAN OR WOMAN? Who is at lost now?

I'm sure the guy will be somewhere now enjoying himself. Too bad for this lady.

See pictures below.

What Goes Around Comes Around, Do Good.

One day a man saw an old lady, stranded on the side of the road, but even in the dim light of day, he could see she needed help. So he pulled up in front of her Mercedes and got out. His Pontiac was still sputtering when he approached her.

Even with the smile on his face, she was worried. No one had stopped to help for the last hour or so. Was he going to hurt her? He didn't look safe; he looked poor and hungry.

He could see that she was frightened, standing out there in the cold. He knew how she felt. I t was that chill which only fear can put in you.

He said, "I'm here to help you, ma'am. Why don't you wait in the car where it's warm? By the way, my name is Bryan Anderson."

Well, all she had was a flat tire, but for an old lady, that was bad enough.

Bryan crawled under the car looking for a place to put the jack, skinning his knuckles a time or two. Soon he was able to change the tire. But he had to get dirty and his hands hurt.

As he was tightening up the lug nuts, she rolled down the window and began to talk to him. She told him that she was from St. Louis and was only just passing through. She couldn't thank him enough for coming to her aid.

Bryan just smiled as he closed her trunk. The lady asked how much she owed him. Any amount would have been all right with her. She already imagined all the awful things that could have happened had he not stopped.

Bryan never thought twice about being paid.

This was not a job to him. This was helping someone in need, and God knows there were plenty, who had given him a hand in the past. He had lived his whole life that way, and it never occurred to him to act any other way.

He told her that if she really wanted to pay him back, the next time she saw someone who needed help, she could give that person the assistance they needed, and Bryan added, "And think of me."

He waited until she started her car and drove off. It had been a cold and depressing day, but he felt good as he headed for home, disappearing into the twilight.

A few miles down the road the lady saw a small cafe. She went in to grab a bite to eat, and take the chill off before she made the last leg of her trip home. It was a dingy looking restaurant. Outside were two old gas pumps. The whole scene was unfamiliar to her. The waitress came over and brought a clean towel to wipe her wet hair. She had a sweet smile, one that even being on her feet for the whole day couldn't erase. The lady noticed the waitress was nearly eight months pregnant, but she never let the strain and aches change her attitude. The old lady wondered how someone who had so little could be so giving to a stranger. Then she remembered Bryan .

After the lady finished her meal, she paid with a hundred dollar bill. The waitress quickly went to get change for her hundred dollar bill, but the old lady had slipped right out the door. She was gone by the time the waitress came back. The waitress wondered where the lady could be. Then she noticed something written on the napkin.

There were tears in her eyes when she read what the lady wrote: "You don't owe me an anything. I have been there too. Somebody once helped me out, the way I'm helping you. If you really want to pay me back, here is what you do: Do not let this chain of love end with you."

Under the napkin were four more .

Well, there were tables to clear, sugar bowls to fill, and people to serve, but the waitress made it through another day. That night when she got home from work and climbed into bed, she was thinking about the money and what the lady had written. How could the lady have known how much she and her husband needed it? With the baby due next month, it was going to be hard….

She knew how worried her husband was, and as he lay sleeping next to her, she gave him a soft kiss and whispered soft and low, "Everything's going to be all right. I love you, Bryan Anderson."

There is an old saying "What goes around comes around." Today, I sent you this story and I'm asking you to pass it on. Let this light shine.

Don't delete it, don't return it. Simply, pass this on to a friend

Good friends are like stars….You don't always see them, but you know they are always there.

tears
A total of 158 Women and children abducted by Boko Haram insurgents from Katarko village in Yobe have been reunited with their families in Damaturu, Yobe. The victims were released by the sect members after three weeks of captivity. Alhaji Ahmed Goniri, the state Commissioner for Justice and Chairman of the State Committee on Rehabilitation of Victims of Insurgency, said this while addressing newsmen in Damaturu on Thursday.
“The victims were screened by security operatives to authenticate their status while government provided them with psychological therapy to ease their trauma,” Goniri said.
NAN reports that the victims were released by the insurgents three weeks ago but remained in custody of security agencies to undergo screening to ensure that they were indeed captives. Alhaji Abdurahman Dauda, a displaced person, said his wife and six girls were released by the insurgents.
“Two of my boys are still in their custody but, I am of high spirit that they will soon be rescued,” he said. One of the victims who preferred to remain anonymous, said’ “to be fair to the insurgents, they did not rape or abused us, they simply asked those who were not interested in their religion to leave, and they eventually released us”.
Meanwhile, the state government has provided N50,000, two bags of rice, sugar, noodles and wrapper to each of the 15 widows among the victims, while 47 other women received N30,000 each and same quantity of rice, sugar, noodles and wrapper. Presenting the assistance, Goniri said government commiserated with the families of the victims and provided the relief materials to help them to resettle.
He said 20 boys were still in custody of the insurgents and expressed hope that the renewed operation against the insurgents would rescue them from their captors.

Jonathan asks Nigerian to pray for peaceful elections during Lent

PRESIDENT Goodluck Jonathan
President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan
President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan felicitates with all Christians in the country as they begin the observance of Lent for the year 2015.
As they undergo the rites of the 40-day Lenten season which runs from today, Ash Wednesday, to Easter Sunday, with constant prayers, penitence, fasting and self-denial, President Jonathan urges Christians in Nigeria to pray fervently for peaceful, violence-free and successful general elections in the country on March 28 and April 11, 2015.
The President also seizes the opportunity of the commencement of Lent to call on all political leaders in the country, Christians and non-Christians alike, to rededicate themselves to the commitment they have made to peaceful, non-violent campaigns and elections, and do their utmost best to ensure that their supporters across the country uphold that commitment.
In the spirit of that commitment, President Jonathan further urges all those seeking political office in the coming elections to eschew hate speech, incitement to violence, divisiveness and the malicious denigration of opponents.
He urges all political parties in the country to join the federal government in giving the fullest possible support and cooperation to INEC to ensure that it delivers free, fair and credible elections.
As they observe Lent, President Jonathan urges the Christian community to reflect more on all the ideals of human existence taught by Jesus Christ during his ministry on earth.
He calls on Christians to make those ideals, including piety, love for others, tolerance, humility, selfless service to others, honesty, fairness, justice and equity more manifest in their daily lives.
President Jonathan prays that God Almighty will answer the prayers of all Nigerians and bless the country with successful elections, continued unity and further progress.

Jega tells Senators he can’t guarantee elections will hold March 28

INEC Chairman, Attahiru Jega

The Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, Attahiru Jega, has told Nigerian federal lawmakers he could not guarantee the 2015 general elections will hold on rescheduled dates in March and April.
At a meeting with Senators Wednesday, Mr. Jega said he could not commit himself to the “sanctity” of March 28 and April 11 – dates for the rescheduled Nigeria’s general elections.
He said the electoral commission could not guarantee aspects of the poll that are beyond its control.
Mr. Jega met with the lawmakers to review the decision to postpone the polls from February.
Under the Nigerian law, a further six-week extension of the elections is possible, a prospect opposed by many Nigerians, the main opposition All Progressives Congress, APC, and the international community.
INEC had said the postponement were necessary for security reasons, as military chiefs had warned against going on with the vote to allow it focus on fighting the terror group, Boko Haram.
But the APC said the delay was instigated by President Goodluck Jonathan, to save him and ruling party from losing the elections to the APC candidate, Muhammadu Buhari.
Since announcing the new dates nearly two weeks ago, the commission has declined to clearly confirm that there will be no further delay beyond March 28 and April 11, for presidential, National Assembly, governorship and state assembly polls.
Responding to a question by George Akume, Senate Minority Leader, on the sanctity of the new dates, on Wednesday, Mr. Jega said it was difficult for him to respond, saying he could only give assurances over aspects within the control of INEC.
“That’s a very difficult question to answer. I have said not everything that has to do with the conduct of successful election is within the control of INEC,” Mr. Jega said.
Use of card readers
Mr. Jega also said the commission will go forward with its plan to deploy card readers for the elections.
There have been some concerns, mainly from the ruling Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, about the plan as Nigerian law prohibits electronic voting.
On Wednesday, while PDP Senators opposed the plan, their APC counterparts welcomed it.
Heineken Lokpobri, a PDP Senator from Bayelsa State and Odion Ugbesa, from Edo State, argued against the use of card readers for the elections, saying it would be illegal.
In his response, Mr. Jega said card readers would only be used for accreditation not actual voting.
He said there was no law forbidding the use of electronic devices for accreditation.
“Card reader is used for accreditation not voting. Voting his defined as dropping of ballot paper into ballot box. Accreditation is essential for integrity of the election,” he said.
“Nothing in the constitution says we should not use electronic device in the process of accreditation. Anybody that is not satisfied can go to court. We have solid ground on that,” he said.
He added that the card readers would curb electoral malpractices, as cloned cards would be detected.
Mr. Jega said INEC will perform a mock test on the card readers.
He said some tests had already been taken in the United States, and will now be tested in the six geopolitical zones.
“The card reader has passed in all the 13 test categories conducted in terms of its durability and versatility,” he said.
Mr. Jega said the postponement of the general elections will enable INEC to have a flawless, near-perfect elections.
INEC National Commissioners are to visit state offices to conduct evaluation and comprehensively determine the level of preparation in the election.
He said after the visit, the commission will meet with the heads of departments and directorates of units to conduct a comprehensive assessment, to figure out additional things to be done before March 28.
Mr Jega said a meeting with the inter-agency committee on security will hold a meeting to discuss security on the Election Day.

10 Ways African Women Tell Their Men “I WANT SEX"

nude-naked-african-black-women-girls-1-65.jpgAfrican-woman-natural-beauty

When you are woman it not easy to express your desire to have sex now. Centuries of taboos and women rights suppression have made most women passive when it comes to sex. In Africa women have crafted over centuries clever schemes to send explicitly coded message meaning “I want sex today!” to their men.

Here are few of these schemes with quick explanation:
1. Tell the man “Come back early” when he would be living home, and, cook a special meal or the man favorite meal for the evening. Keep in mind that sex is only a night business in many traditional societies around the world.
2. Help the man undress when he is back from work, clean his face with her sheet. The kind gesture and the physical contact done in a pleasant manner would arouse the man desire.
More sophisticated women would ask the man to sit, remove their shoes and bring a bucket of warm water to clean and massage their feet.
In the southern east part of Togo, there is a traditional education reserved to girls on how to domesticate men, which include elaborate process to make a man as obedient as a dog.
3. Remove the man towel from bathroom or provide the shower bucket with water but without the man towel. When the man would need the towel or ask for it, she would bring it with suggesting messages.
4. Put the pillows at the feet side of the bed, when dressing the bed in the morning, meaning something has to be different this night.
5. Serve Very hot water in the shower bucket for the man.
In City or village, in majority people still take shower from a bucket. Serving very hot water would either lead the man to complain or ask for a cooling water. The message is to say “dude, I’m very hot, I need a cooler”.
6. Put her scarf on the door. “Man, I have lost my mind, I need a treat” that’s the message. Usually, the woman would made her hair in a fashionable way in the first place, and use some face powder for special effect. The attractiveness would compel the man to cool the fire before prying eyes would start sending dubious messages.
nude-naked-african-black-women-girls-1-5.jpg
7. Drop cloth on the floor when walking by the man, and quickly recover it to protect her intimate parts. This is a very widespread methods in villages and traditional families. It is also used as a way to send message to lovers or for courting. There is more art dnd variety to this that I can describe here.
8. In societies where women wear Beads, the ladies would change their wearing to a new color, in most cases yellow or red, and would move them above the hip, a bit over the belly, and would slightly touch them or play with them while interacting with the target man.
9. Wear a red color cloth at the end of the day, or the favorite color of the husband. It also usual that woman would be get naked and only tie a very light, one piece of cloth, just above the breast, and walk away from home or surrounding for a short time. This would awaken the man suspicion and instinct to protect territory, which would lead him to act faster.
10. If all above methods won’t work, women would take any opportunity in large group to complain to his man like following “I’ve been cooking for you but you don’t eat my food”. This message mean you don’t fuck me anymore, and is a kind a double signal: one as ultimatum to the man to act, and another is to signal other males in the group she is considering alternatives.nude-naked-african-black-women-girls-1-25.jpg
These practices are more from western Africa. It’s possible that there more, and many different ones in other parts of Africa.
As for women to show explicit desire for sex would made them look vulgar, untrustworthy or just like sex objects only good to play with (not someone worthy marrying), these subtleties have been invented, I guess, to smooth things out within the constraints of the bigotry in our traditional and modern societies.
As for men, the usual and most desirable practice to express their desire to have sex is to tell the woman in the morning or before she would start cooking in the evening to “prepare for tonight” or “come to see me when the kids would be sleeping”.
Are there such kind of practices in your country or society?

Woman Stung by Scorpion on Alaska Airlines Flight

PHOTO: A yellow fat tail scorpion is seen close-up in this stock image.

A woman was stung by a scorpion while on a plane waiting to take off from Los Angeles International Airport, an airline spokesman said today.

Alaska Airlines Flight 567, bound for Portland, Oregon, was taxi-ing for takeoff Saturday night when the woman was stung on the hand, Alaska Airlines spokesman Cole Cosgrove told ABC News today.
"We don't know exactly how the scorpion made it on the plane," Cosgrove said, but added that the flight originated in Los Cabos, Mexico.
The plane then went back to the gate, where the woman was checked by medics and released, Cosgrove said.
"When the flight was at the gate as medics were checking out the customer, some maintenance employees came on the plane to do a look through the cabin to make sure there were no other scorpions," Cosgrove said.
According to Cosgrove, flight attendants killed the scorpion, but he said he didn't know how.
The plane took off for Portland after about a 50-minute delay, though the stung woman did not get back on the flight.
"I don't know what our customer service folks will do, but I'll imagine we'll reach out to the customer and do our best to take care of her," Cosgrove said.
After the flight arrived in Portland, an exterminator "checked through the plane thoroughly," he said.

"I will handover and happily go home if I lose this election" Says President Goodluck Jonathan

10492300_735412929907847_1744254185866621873_nPresident Goodluck Jonathan on Wednesday assured Nigerians and the world at large that he would inaugurate the next president if he lost the 2015 presidential election.
Jonathan, who gave the assurance at a media chat in Abuja, dismissed the insinuation in some quarters that he would not hand over to the winner of the election, come May 29.
He stated that those making the allusion in the media, particularly the social media, were not being fair to him.
He said: “In 2011, I said that I will conduct free and fair elections and if I lose I will happily go home and it should be recorded.
“As of that time, no African sitting president had lost an election, but within this period a number of African sitting presidents had lost elections.

“But I said that I wanted to create history to be the first African president that will lose election.
Then, I just concluded the late president’s tenure.
“I was just a president for about a year, acting for some months then.
“But I said that I will be happy to go home.
“That this nation is more important than any human being and I still maintain.
“Anybody who wants to hold this office of the president or any office at all and feels that he is more important than the nation, then he it is not quite right.
“So, if as of that time I said that I was ready to conduct a free and fair election and if I lose I will go, not to talk about now that Nigerians had given me the opportunity to be here for four full years.
“So if the elections are conducted and I lose, of course I will inaugurate a new government.
“There is no way I say if I lose I will not hand over.”
The President said a lot of misinformation was being circulated in the social media about the 2015 elections and urged Nigerians to shun such propaganda for the progress of the country.
Jonathan reassured Nigerians and the international community that the 2015 general elections would be conducted as planned by the Independent National Electoral Commission.
On the ongoing fight against Boko Haram, the President disclosed that the Multi National Joint Task Force, including the Nigerian military, had intensified efforts to liberate all areas captured by the insurgents.
He said the Nigerian Army had taken delivery of new military hardware that would help it in its crusade against the insurgents.
He also expressed the hope that with the renewed fight against the militants, the Chibok girls might soon be rescued.
