Drama as Filipino Priest Preach on Hoverboard During Mass in Church

A catholic priest has stirred controversy after he made a most unconventional decision to preach during a Christmas mass on a hoverboard.
As the hoverboards madness continues to trend all over the world, a catholic priest in Philippines is in serious trouble after church members protested and demonstrated because he preached on hoverboard during mass.
The priest in the middle of the mess has been suspended by the church after video shared on social media showed him gliding on a hoverboard while preaching during mass.
The video which has racked up millions of views, showed Father Albert San Jose from the Philippines Diocese of San Pablo gliding on a hoverboard during a Christmas Eve mass at the Lady of Miraculous Medal church in BiƱan town. While the parishioners enjoyed seeing their priest having a good time, the stunt did not go down well with the priest’s bishop.
“That was wrong,” the archdiocese said in a statement released on Tuesday. “The Eucharist demands utmost respect and reverence. It is the Memorial of the Lord’s Sacrifice. It is the source and summit of Christian life.”
Father Jose later apologized for the stunt, saying it will never happen again.

LEADER OF THE INDIGENOUS PEOPLE OF BIAFRA, NNAMDI KANU APOLOGIZES TO PRESIDENT BUHARI

The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra and founder of Radio Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, has expressed regret for referring to President Muhammadu Buhari as a terrorist, evil and a paedophile in his radio broadcasts.fresh eKanu, who has been charged along with two others by the Federal Government before a Federal High Court in Abuja on six counts of treason and other ancillary offences, said he intended to write a private letter to Buhari to express his apology to the President. The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra and founder of Radio Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, has expressed regret for referring to President Muhammadu Buhari as a terrorist, evil and a paedophile in his radio broadcasts.
Kanu, who has been charged along with two others by the Federal Government before a Federal High Court in Abuja on six counts of treason and other ancillary offences, said he intended to write a private letter to Buhari to express his apology to the President.
He also apologised to former President Goodluck Jonathan and Igbo elders for “some uncomplimentary things” he said about them
The 48-year-old pro-Biafran agitation leader, who is, however, unapologetic about his demand for a Republic of Biafra, has been in the custody of the Department of State Services since his arrest in Lagos on October 14, 2015.
He tendered the apology for his comment against Buhari and others in a statement which he made to the DSS on October 23.
The prosecution, in its summary of the case, alleged that in one of the radio broadcasts by Kanu on August 1, 2015, he expressed his resolve to actualise the Republic of Biafra and “cast aspersions on the person and the office of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria”.
The statement read in part, “Reference to the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria as a terrorist, evil and a paedophile is regrettable and uncalled for and for that, I unreservedly apologise and will be doing so in a private letter to the President.
“Before PMB (President Muhammadu Buhari) there was the administration of Goodluck Jonathan. I also said uncomplimentary things about him and Igbo elders as well, which I now recognise should not have happened because it is un-African to be rude or insolent to elders.
“All I was trying to do is to draw attention to the problems afflicting society and something done about them.”
Kanu, who described himself as a Nigerian and a British citizen, justified his agitation for a Biafra Republic.
He said IPOB’s secessionist agenda was informed by the “incessant hardship, lack of holistic development in the socio-economic landscape of Nigeria, lack of youth employment, corruption in high offices and economic regression.”
He added that the agitation by IPOB, which, according to him, was founded in London in 2012 by a group of people from the South-South and South-East regions of the country, was in line with the United Nations Charter on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples ratified by African countries, including Nigeria.
In contrast to the counts of managing and assisting in the management of an unlawful society preferred against Kanu and two others, the Radio Biafra founder stated that IPOB, which the prosecution described as unlawful, was registered with the UN to pursue the rights of the people of Biafra.
He stated, “I can confirm that I, Nnamdi Kanu, is the leader of Indigenous People of Biafra worldwide as a legitimately and duly registered body at the United Nations pursuing the rights of a specific indigenous people, in this case, Biafra, to seek self determination according to the said charter.
“The reason for the formation of the Indigenous People of Biafra is to avail those referring to themselves as Biafrans the opportunity made available as a result of the United Nations declaration to seek the peaceful rebirth of Biafra in line with international law.”
Kanu, who is a son of a traditional ruler in Abia State, Sir I.O. Kanu, said he operated Radio Biafra, whose programmes “are designed to wake up the public from its slumber and address the issues of the time” because of his belief in free speech and freedom of expression.
He explained that the intended Biafra Republic comprised Enugu, Ebonyi, Abia, Imo, Anambra, Cross River, Akwa Ibom, Rivers, Bayelsa and Delta states as well the Igbanke part of Edo State; Igala part of Kogi State and Idoma/Igede part of Edo State.

Celestial Prophet Murders Church Member With Charm

A Celestial Church pastor, Prophet Samson Olorunisola (alias Orun mi si), who is the Shepherd in charge of Jehovah Lass Parish, Powerline, Peace Estate, Ajasa-Command, Lagos, is currently cooling his heels at Panti police command for allegedly murdering a male member of his church.
Olorunisola was said to have hit the deceased, identified as Kehinde on the head with a diabolic ring.
A group of worshipers at a Celestial Church of Christ branch.
The deceased, who died after three days in the hospital, confirmed that he was hit on the head with a spiritual ring, but the pastor claimed that he used one of the big crucifixes in the church on his victim.
Immediately Olorunisola saw the gravity of his offence, he absconded, but was later arrested by the police.
The unfortunate incident took place on the night of Tuesday, December 8, 2015, after the pastor accused Kehinde of trying to have carnal knowledge of his four-year old daughter.
He claimed that it was the anger and effort to save his daughter that prompted him to hit the deceased with the crucifix.
But before he eventually died, Kehinde who was receiving treatment at a Lagos private hospital, claimed that his pastor actually hit him with a charm (ring).
Taiwo, the twin brother of the deceased, who resides abroad, is said to have vowed that justice must be done on the case.
He has been communicating with other family members in Nigeria to ensure that the killer of his twin does not go unpunished.

BANANAS: How To Identify Natural Ripened One And Chemically Ripened

Friends, we all love bananas and we eat a lot of them, but the bananas available in the market are forced ripe by dipping in water mixed with Carbide. The consumption of these bananas is 100% sure to cause Cancer or some other infection in the stomach. Therefore, such type of bananas is to be avoided
But, how does one recognize the bananas ripened with the help of Carbide?
Bananas which are ripened naturally are dark yellow and there are small black spots here and there on the bananas and the stalks are black.
While those which are forced ripe with Carbide are lemon yellow and their stalks are green and moreover they are clear yellow without any black spots.
Carbide is a chemical which if mixed with water, emits heat and the heat emitted by a Close tank mixed with Carbide is even more than that emitted by a LPG Cylinder, so much so it can be used for Gas Cutting (which means the calorific value is so high that it can replace LPG gas). In the same way, when the bunch of bananas is dipped in the water mixed with Carbide, the gas gets absorbed into the bananas and they get ripe. However, the banana vendors are not that literate and so they do not know the exact proportion of Carbide to be used for a dozen of bananas. As a result they end up using excess quantity of Carbide which gets absorbed into the bananas and ultimately enters our stomach. Due to this excess use of Carbide, tumors can be formed in our digestive system.
So, next time you purchase bananas, make sure you select the naturally ripened ones.

I Have No Confidence In This Court - Nnamdi Kanu

There was drama at a Federal High Court in Abuja today, December 23, when Nnamdi Kanu, the director of Radio Biafra and a leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) made an objection in court.
On calling the case, the court clerk had asked the accused person, Kanu, alongside two others – Benjamin Madubugwu and David Nwawuisi, if they understand English, a procedure normally done before hearings.

But instead of answering the clerk’s question, Kanu began by saying he has an objection to make. His counsel, Vincent Obetta, in his advice urged his client to wait for the case to be fully mentioned before any further objection. After the clerk was done with calling of the case and the accused person, the judge, A. R. Mohammed, said: “It will be good to appreciate and take into consideration the objection raised by the defendant.”
At the judge’s permission, Nnamdi Kanu went further with his objection.

He said: “Thank you very much my lordship, but my objection is that I will not receive a fair trial before this court. The information I got is that I will not receive a fair trial before this court.“I will not sacrifice the due process of law because of speedy court process over the principle of natural process on the altar of speedy release. In other words, I would rather remain in detention than subject myself to a trial that I know amounts to perversion of justice.

“Your lordship, previous court rulings have been given by courts of competent jurisdiction in this country, Nigeria which were not carried out by the DSS.”

The prosecuting counsel, Mohammed Diri, having heard the objections of the defendant said: “First, he objects trial by your lordship because he believes he is not going to get fair trail. Two, he said, the trial before your lordship will amount to perversion of justice.
He said the rule of the law is clear and that the defendant may object to his trial at any time.

“Your lordship before the defendant can object to his trial, he has to file an application objecting his trial before this court.”

He said in that application the defendant is expected to exhibit special evidences why he should not be tried by a particular court.

Diri said: “My lordship, what the defendant just did is putting the cart before the horse.”

He further urged the court to overrule the objection of the first defendant and order that the charges filed by the prosecution before the court be read to the three defendants for the purpose of taking their plea.In his reply, the defending counsel said the argument by Diri is only an effort to puncture his client’s objection, adding that he is in tandem with the objection made by Kanu.
We believe that whatever comes out of this court should be justice for the three parties – the state, the court and the accused persons,” Obetta said.
But in his ruling, Mohammed said he sees nothing wrong in the defendant’s objection.
Defining Kanu as someone who is learned and understands the legalities of his objection, Mohammed said the first defendant is not objecting the validity of the charges against him but on the confidence he has in the court.
He added that there is nothing wrong with the defendant’s objection which he (the judge) said is in order.
Mohammed also said that he was standing down from the case as Kanu had the right to reject the trial, saying: “After all justice is rooted on confidence. If any of the parties has no confidence in the court, he has the right to say so.”He noted that the prosecution would have done the same thing if they were in Kanu’s shoes.
Mohammed, therefore, said: “I therefore remit this case file to the chief judge of this court to take necessary action.”
