It is advisable that one needs to be very cautious and must be aware enough to check all the documentations, every aspect and technical knitty gritties before buying any particular car or vehicle, especially if you are buying a used one.

Among others, one of the main and perhaps the most important thing to check before buying any used car is to check its engine thoroughly.
This job can be done by consulting with an expert and you can also perform it alone. Yes! You heard it right. Even, you on your own can also check the engine of the vehicle before buying it.

We will focus in this article, on various ways in which one can check engine before buying used cars.
Engine is the most vital and heart of any vehicle. To check the condition of the car’s engine, you can do the following to get started with and to escape any regrets later.

1. Listen to the engine: Before doing anything else, just start the car and listen to the sound very carefully for any unusual noise coming out of the engine. While the engine is running, if you hear any unusual sound or noise that somewhat resembles to knocking, patting or like rattles, you probably should refrain yourself from buying that car.

Any unwanted or unusual noise coming from a running engine indicates that the vehicle’s engine is not being properly checked or maintained and it needs immediate repair. If you ignore them, then in future you may have to shell out several hundred bucks repairing and maintaining the car’s engine, without which the car cannot function.

2. Test Drive: This is considered as a master plan to check the condition of the engine, when it comes to buying a used car. Test driving a car before buying could help you in detecting any gross anomalies in the engine.

You must use the accelerator in uphill position and apply the brakes frequently.

Also, it is recommended to drive the car on freeways. If the car shakes, vibrates or any sound or smoke comes out from the engine, then it is best to stay away from buying the car.
Any problem detected in the engine can be an indication of future expenses related to it and its best to refrain yourself from buying such cars and escape the ordeal altogether by going for a well maintained used car.
If you have a defected auto glass or wipers or any other minor things, it can be repaired quickly without much expenses, but when it comes to the car’s engine, it’s another story altogether.

3. Check engine lights: Usually, once a car is started, all the warning lights goes off. But, if somehow, the engine light which is also known as “check engine light” stays on after the car is started, it implies that the car’s engine is at fault and it needs proper diagnosis, repair, and maintenance.

You cannot say just by looking at the light, how serious the problem is. So, it is better to stay away from buying such used cars. Or, have a certified technician complete a thorough inspection and diagnosis.
4. Check the car’s service history- It will enable you know of any engine related issues beforehand.
5. Smoke and timing belt replacement are the other two major things to check out in order to know about the engine’s condition of any used car.
6. Check for oil levels and of any leaks before starting the car and after starting the car. It is very helpful in identifying engine anomalies beforehand.
7. Also, if possible, have a technician complete an engine analysis or compression check of the cylinders to identify the overall condition of the engine.
Keeping in mind the above points and tips will help you to check the overall engine condition of a used car before you decide to buy it.

South African Church Bars Black People From Service

A South Africa’s Church has barred blacks from attending service as the church on Sunday disallowed two black journalists from entering. The Afrikaanse Protestante Kerk church in Orania, told the journalists “the church is only for whites”. Orania is an Afrikaans-only South African town located along the banks of the Orange River, in the arid Karoo region of the Northern Cape Province. South Africa’s Church bars blacksThe journalists were on an assignment and decided to attend a Sunday service before returning to Pretoria but they were intercepted by a church leader, identified as Mr Theunis Oukamp, at the door. According to Africa Review, Oukamp said allowing black people into an all-white church would be violating the “rights of Afrikaans people”. “I am now in a difficult situation. You know that Orania is only for white people, this is why we are here. “You must understand I know you want to serve God and everything but I have to protect the rights of Afrikaans people. So I cannot let you in, you guys can go to any other church, but this one is only for white people,” Mr Oukamp told the journalists. Mr Langton Ndlovu, a Christian, described the move as ‘diabolical’. “This is demonic, in this day and age, I never thought this was real. That’s unacceptable. I wonder how they read the scripture that says “there is neither Greek nor Jew” but we’re one in Christ,” said Mr Ndlovu. The president of the South Africa Union Council of Independent Churches, Archbishop Modiri Patrick Shole, expressed shock that there was still segregation in the body of Christ, 23 years after apartheid ended. “We don’t discriminate in church because before God we are one – whether white or black. I find it weird that we still have discrimination in the church,” he said. Pastor Nyasha Light Nyatsungo, might be in trouble with the law, after compromising photos of him with one of his girlfriends were circulated on social media by a scorned woman. Nyatsungo who is said to be married with two children, was said to have sent the photos of him and one Shingi Mavenge, to another girlfriend simply known as Beulah, who went on to share them online.

The first explosion in the city of Quetta killed at least 13 people. It happened when a suicide bomber in a car was stopped by police at a checkpoint. Two different militant groups claim they carried out that blast. In the second incident, at least 11 people were killed in two almost simultaneous explosions at a market in the north-western town of Parachinar. Several people are reported to have been injured.People in Parachinar carry an injured man after a twin blasts at the town's market

The Kurram region has a history of sectarian violence between Shia and Sunni Muslims. Most people in Parachinar are from Pakistan's Shia minority Sunni hardliners, currently operating through different factions including the Taliban and so-called Islamic State (IS) consider Shias to be heretics and worthy of death. These groups have sanctuaries in Afghan and Pakistani areas surrounding Kurram, and have launched frequent attacks against civilians in Parachinar.Pakistani government and security officials offer prayers during the funerals for security personnel killed in a powerful explosion in Quetta (23 June 2017)

Long-running insurgency

Police in Quetta said that Friday's blast had reverberated across the city, breaking windows of buildings in the area.here has so far been no explanation as to why two militant groups - IS and an offshoot of the Taliban called the Jamaat-ul-Ahrar - have both said they carried out the attack.

Eyewitnesses said many of those killed were police.
Provincial government spokesman Anwar ul Haq Kakar told the Reuters news agency that the bomb was detonated close to the office of the inspector general (IG) of police."It's possible the IG office was the target, or the assailants were trying to enter the [army] cantonment which is close by," he said.Residents gather along a road as smoke billows after a twin blasts at a market in Parachinar (23 June 2017)
Bomb disposal officials say the car was carrying up to 95kg (210lb) of explosives.

Johnny Deep Makes Trump Assassination Joke

Johnny Depp apparently didn't learn a damn thing from Kathy Griffin ... he just went and made a joke about killing President Trump. Depp was speaking to a crowd at the Glastonbury Festival Thursday when he starting talking Trump, saying ... "I think he needs help." Then he asked the crowd ... "When was the last time an actor assassinated a president?" The crowd's reaction -- mostly cheers, but Depp still attempted to backpedal a little bit from his clear reference to John Wilkes Booth killing Abraham Lincoln in 1865. We're guessing Depp can expect a call from the Secret Service ... stat. His comments would be controversial at any time, but especially now ... just weeks after Griffin went through the wringer.

President Trump Quotes DJ Khaled’s “All I Do Is Win” During Iowa Rally

When Barack Obama created a workout playlist on Spotify, naturally everyone needed the confirmation that he was the hip-hop fan we all thought and wanted him to be. As for President Trump, no one cares to know his pre-speech playlist, but we have strong reason to believe it includes DJ Khaled‘s “All I Do Is Win.” Exhibit A: his speech yesterday at a rally in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.Alberto E. Rodriguez / Scott Olson, Getty Images (2)

In just under a minute of his speech, President Trump attempts to raise morale by claiming he and his constituents have made progress despite the obstacles in their path. And to drive the point home, he took a page out of Khaled’s book: “We are making such incredible progress. We are making progress like nobody can believe. These people are being driven crazy… crazy. They have phony witch hunts going against me. They have everything going. And you know what? All we do is win, win, win.”

While his cadence isn’t exactly the same as T-Pain’s, President Trump’s repetition of “win” is eerily similar. It’s unlikely that DJ Khaled will speak on the issue, if he’s even aware of it, since he’s been heavily promoting the release of his next album Grateful, which drops at midnight tonight, on social networks.

This isn’t the first time the 2010 anthem has been associated with a president. President Obama had used it as an intro for himself at the 2013 White House Correspondents’ Dinner.
You can check out the clip of President Trump’s speech at the Iowa rally below. There is also a video which is edited to make it look like the president is rapping T-Pain’s hook on the song.

Wyclef Jean Releases New Song “Fela Kuti,” Announces ‘Carnival III’ Album Release Date

Wyclef Jean is headed to the carnival once again. The former Fugees member is preparing to release his forthcoming album, Carnival III: The Fall and Rise of a Refugee, and his promo kicks into high gear today (June 22) with the release of his new single “Fela Kuti,” premiered exclusively by XXL.Legacy Recordings
Produced by Supah Mario, this dance-inducing banger drops just in time for summer solstice and is the lead single off Carnival III, dropping Sept. 15 via Legacy Records. Like the title implies, “Fela Kuti,” is an ode to not only good times, but to the influential Nigerian musician Fela Kuti, a staple of 1970s Afrobeat and jazz music.
“I decided to name it Fela Kuti because for me, I feel like we be thinking of [Bob] Marley, we give a lot of people from our past props, so when the kids hear Fela Kuti, I really want them to Google it,” Jean tells XXL. “Fela Kuti studied jazz in England. Wyclef studied jazz at Vailsburg High School. Fela Kuti then went back to his country and tried to help his country by running for president. Wyclef, you know, did the same thing. Then, Fela, through all his obstacles and all that, his music is what pillared him right back to the top. He understood the strongest way to help politically was to make sure the music was bangin.’ So for me, the same way kids can have songs called “Wyclef Jean” who are influenced by me, I want kids to know who Fela is and what he means.”
Wyclef says he decided to work with Supah Mario on the single after hearing his production skills on Young Thug‘s “Wyclef Jean,” off his Jeffery project.
“I was like, ‘Yo, who got my frequency?’” says ’Clef, who thought the producer had that young Wyclef frequency. “So me and Supah Mario been trying to get together for a session together and this was that session. This is what happens when you put two generations together that inspire each other.”
This new dose of music is a follow-up to Wyclef’s last EP, The J’ouvert. Back in early spring, the muisc star spoke to XXL about getting back in the studio and his upcoming collabs on the Carnival III LP. ’Clef cites rappers like Joey Bada$$ and Pusha T as collaborators on upcoming music. But fans will have to wait and see which of these collabos come to light.
For now, listen to “Fela Kuti” below and pre-order Carnival III: The Fall and Rise of a Refugee here.

He found his 67-year-old father and 69-year-old mother fatally stabbed in the 1400-block of North Leclaire Avenue and contacted police at about 1 a.m., police said. They have been identified to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office as Johnnie and Shirley Ervin.

Neighbors described the couple as beloved members of the community.

The circumstances and the motive behind the stabbings are not known. Chicago police said a person of interest is in custody and charges are pending.

Why Don't Jehovah's Witnesses Celebrate Father's Day?

Jehovah’s Witnesses treat Father’s Day as any other, and will love their Fathers just as much that day as any other day.

Jehovah’s Witnesses base all of their beliefs, their standards for conduct, and organizational procedures on the Bible.
Yes, the Bible does command children to honor, obey and respect their parents. (Eph. 6:1, 2) But nowhere does it advocate the commemoration of a special “Father’s Day”. True Christians follow Jesus Christ as their Exemplar and realize that to Jesus, every day was Father’s Day. He did not set aside only one particular day out of the year to bring praise to his Father. He did so every day.

It is also worthy to note that the main purpose for the creation of Father’s Day was to complement Mother’s Day. Jehovah’s Witnesses do not formally celebrate Mother’s Day - mostly for the same reasons as stated for Father’s Day above. But they also do not celebrate it because Jehovah’s Witnesses avoid participating in any celebrations with non-Christian religious origins. Some may counter that by saying that Mother’s Day does not have roots in ancient paganism and that it is presently considered a largely secular event. But the earliest Mother’s Day celebrations can be traced back to the spring celebrations of ancient Greece in honor of Rhea, the mother of the gods. The Bible makes it clear that if a holiday or custom is being deliberately participated in by a Christian, it must have absolutely no known pagan religion associations. Billionaire Kidnapper Evans Wife Cries Out For Forgiveness

Wife of Billionaire kidnapper, Chukwudubem Onwuamadike, aka Evans, Uchenna, has opened up on her husband's atrocities which were made light after his arrest on Saturday last week. In an interview with Vanguard, she swears she didn't know he was into crime .

She also said he didn't give her money or open a business for her, giving her the impression he wasn't rich. She is appealing to Nigerians to forgive him, promising he would repent. She also says all his properties should be sold and the proceeds given to his victims.
She said
"My name is Uchenna Precious Onwuamadike, the wife of the Chikwudubem Onwuamadike who you call Evans. I am 31 years old. I got married to Evans at the age of 17 at Oraifite, Anambra state in 2004. He met me while I was coming back from lesson as a student of All Saints Secondary School, Oraifite and I was in class 6 going to take my West African Examination.
After we met, I agreed to go with him because of my poor background. He told me his father married three wives when he was six years old and threw his mother out of his house. He said that one of the wives influenced his father to drive them out of his house also and they were forced to stay with outsiders. Evans was taken to his grandmother who trained him.
He told me his father accused the mother of being adulterous before driving her out of his house. Our marriage is blessed with five children. Our first issue is 12 years plus and her name us Udochukwu. After we got married, he said I should stay with his mother in his village at Akanmiri, Umudim, Nnewi to teach me how to be a good housewife. I was there for three years before he took me to Lagos.
We were living at Satellite town in 2006 and after one year, he relocated us back to the village because he could not pay house rent. While in the village, he normally came to see us. We spent three years in the village and relocated to Ghana. On our way to Ghana, we passed through Lagos and stayed at Benny Hotels in Festac where we spent two days before travelling to Ghana. He spent a month with us in Ghana before coming back to Lagos.I was pregnant with our fourth child in 2010 when he left for Nigeria to come back in two months time. After I gave birth, he came back four months later and was able to clear the accumulated bills we kept for him because I borrowed money from friends to clear hospital bill. When he came back, he complained bitterly that things were rough for him in Nigeria and that customs seized his goods. I was not aware that he was into kidnapping and all the criminal acts he is being associated with now.
All I know about his business is that he was into haulage, buying engine and spare parts for trucks and imports exhaust pipes. That was what he told me. The reason he kept me in Ghana was because he said our children should get quality education. I have spent six years here and after I stopped hearing from him, I called and complained bitterly but he said I should stay for some time. I then called his friend, Okechukwu, who now lives in China. He told me that he has not been seeing him and that he spends most of his time with a girlfriend in Festac. When I called him to complain, he was angry with me and warned that I should stop listening to gossip. He said that If I should return, I should go to his younger brother’s house in Lagos until he is ready to get accommodation for us.
The brother was formally living in Lagos but he is in Brazil now. So, when it was impossible to pay my children’s school fees, I packed my bags and baggage and came back to Lagos with our children. We stayed at his brother’s house at Agric, close to Trade Fair until he took us to a house in Magodo where he claimed he owed rent pending the completion of his own house there.
We have spent just one year in that house in Magodo. I have no idea of the type of business he was into but he told me that his friends overseas used to buy phones and jewelries for him.
While in Lagos, i was idle and I pressured him to find something for me to do and he promised to do that. Several times, I asked him to take me to his office but he said they move from place to place to offload goods in haulage business and share profits. I can’t remember having any visitor in our house. It is only the agent called Sunny that helped us to pack into our house that I know. At times, artisans come to do one repair or the other, that’s all. I don’t know any of his friends and if we were invited to parties, he would not allow us to attend. He told me that he has no friends and that he hates associating with people.
I was always indoors because he warned me to beware of Lagos women that they are wayward. I was staying indoors and it was only when I was sick that he took me to a hospital in Ikeja. I always have BP and it makes weak.
We went back to Ghana on the 6th of this month and he promised to join us in no distant time. On the 9th, I called him to know when he would be coming and even the youngest of our children was crying, begging him to come as soon as possible and he promised to come. In the afternoon, I called but he was not picking. I called again, there was noise in the background and the line was switched off. I then called the driver that took us to the motor pack when we were going to Ghana and he told me that there was a problem, that police came and arrested Oga and that they came with a fair complexioned lady. When I heard all the allegations against him, I called his brother in Ghana, his mother, father and other relations but I could not get them. I then called their last born, a student at Oko Polytechnic but he said he had not spoken with him for long. I was confused until I opened Niger news and Vanguard Websites. That was how I got the shocking news about my husband. I collapsed and later called my kids to inform them what I just read about their father.
Since then, I have not eaten, I am still in shock. Our children could not believe what they were reading about their father. They are saying that he cannot do all the things they said he did. In fact, while we were in Nigeria, he had never slept outside our house. My children were crying when they saw his bloody eyes and swollen face. Our condition was worsened when I saw my picture with him and our children on the face book. I don’t know where they got it. I have not been receiving money from him, I have never seen his money. The only thing I know is that there was a time he bought an expensive watch in Dubai and I wanted to know why he bought it when he could not open any business for me. He kept on teasing me, claiming it came from a friend.
It was only when we wanted to travel to South Africa last year Christmas where we spent two years that he gave me N200, 000 for the trip. I have never seen him as a rich man. While with him, we made sure we had all we wanted to eat and that’s all. I can’t remember seeing any sign of affluence in him. He is not a proud man and he has been wearing one sandal and slippers for long now. He does not go for parties. In fact, I have never suspected him as a criminal. If I have been seeing any strange things, I would have suspected him. We have three cars, one Hilux, one grand Cherokee and an SUV.
The N20m they said he sent to me through transfer was given to one Hausa man to pay into an account in Ghana to be used in paying our rent and furnish the house in Ghana. I know he banks with GTB only. Their staff used to visit us in the house. I am not aware that he has five girlfriends and I have never suspected him because he did not keep late nights. It was shocking to hear about his girlfriends. He did not answer calls in my presence. I used to see his phones being charged but he normally switched them off. I always asked him why use pin code to lock his phones and that he lived a secret life but he threatened to beat me if ever I touched any of his phones. I didn’t even know the security pin.
He would leave the house sometimes in the evenings with his phones and would come back between 8pm and 9pm. Most of the things I read about him are strange to me. As his wife, I should have seen the signs but I have not. He has cancer and does not drink alcohol nor smoke anything. I have never seen gun in our house. I don’t know where they got those frightening guns. He has never told me he has another house at Igando. Any time he went out, he always called to ask after the children and reassure me that he would be back soon.
I am suspecting that whatever happened to him must have come from his father’s second wife. I don’t know what he did to him when he was young but he told the story. He said that after their mother was driven out of the house, he was with his brothers playing outside one day when the second wife called him to pick a bucket and collect water for her. He was four years then, he picked the bucket, collected water and when he came back, she removed her dress and she was wearing only a bag made from animal skin on her waist.
She brought seven small stones from the bag, gave to Evans and ordered him to pour the stones into the bucket to know if the gravel would rise (sail) on top of the water or not. Evans said he did as she directed but the only thing the woman did was to take the bucket back and ordered him to go back and play with his brothers. He said he told his father later but he said he was telling lies. I feel very bad because I did not know if he was doing all these or not. Even if he was into all these, why did he not stop because of me and his children? All the time when we pray, he used to promise God that he would tell Him his story later in life. Here reads psalm 23 a lot.
Even his phone, he sets alarm for 12 noon to read psalm 23. He took part in our daily prayers in the morning, evening and night. He used to lead us in prayers. We attend Anglican Church. He has never given them money to show off. We used to give N5000 or N10,000 and the highest we have given so far was N50,000 when we baptised one of our children. I am appealing to the powers that be to spare his life (crying), as I speak now, I am kneeling down with my children, crying and begging for forgiveness. Have mercy on us. He did not know what he was doing. He did not know what came over him.
I am ready to come back to Nigeria and plead on his behalf. What I am reading in the news is shocking. Though, I have not heard that he killed anybody but all those he injured or took their money should please forgive him because me and my children. They should kindly forgive him, he will repent. God knows I will not be alive and see my husband doing bad thing and keep quiet. All his wealth should be sold off and given to his victims"
