Unknown Gunmen have abducted Mr. Nnamdi Abbah, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Rivers State.
The abduction came less than 24 hours after another chieftain of the party, Mr. Boris Neenwi, was killed in Tai Local Government Area of the state.
Abbah, who is a former Caretaker Committee Chairman of Emohua Local Government Area of the state, was taken away by gunmen, Tuesday night on Elekahia axis of East-West road, Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of the state.
He was reportedly driving towards Obiri Ikwerre end when he was stopped by the gunmen around Elekahia and taken away.
Chizy Enyi, who is a close relation, confirmed the abduction to Vanguard, adding that no contact had been established between the family and the kidnappers after the incident.
