Fadeyi Boys Brutalize 3 Suspected Bank Robbers In Lagos

Three members of a four-man suspected armed robbers were on Tuesday brutalised by residents in Fadeyi area of Lagos, while trying to rob a man who had gone to make withdrawal from a bank.
According to eyewitness, the armed robbers had trailed a certain man to the First Bank branch around YABATECH junction, Morocco road. The man had gone to make huge cash withdrawals that he had to pack the cash in a polythene bag.
As he made his way out of the bank premises, the robbers who were on a waiting motorcycle (a.k.a Okada) snatched the money from him and rode off.
Eyewitness said that the Mopol officer attached to bank shot one of the robbers in the leg while three others took to their  heels but the unlucky robbers were later apprehended by residents (Fadeyi boys as popularly called) who melted jungle justice on them.
“Some of those boys attacked the robbers with machetes and any other harmful object they could lay their hands on”, the eyewitness said.
By the time Policemen attached to the Onipanu Police station arrived the scene, the armed robbers were already lying in pool of their own blood, grasping for life. The Policemen whisked them away in their pickup van to their station at Onipanu bus stop just about 1km away.
