The Democratic presidential candidate is due to speak in North Carolina and Washington after spending four days resting.
She was pictured smiling and giving the thumbs up to photographers as she boarded her campaign plane at Westchester County Airport.
Mrs Clinton was pictured stumbling out of a 9/11 memorial service on Sunday and was forced to cancel a string of engagements prompting major concern for her health.
Her campaign revealed last night she had been diagnosed with a non-contagious, bacterial form of pneumonia, which she hid from voters for three days. The 68-year-old came under pressure to release her medical records which revealed she received a 10-day course of antibiotics and underwent a chest scan.
She has been evaluated several times by her physician, Dr Lisa Bardack
Only bacterial pneumonia, not viral, can be treated with antibiotics. Since it is not contagious, Mrs Clinton was at no risk of transmitting the infection at campaign and fundraising events before or after she was diagnosed.Questions were asked about the candidate”s health when video footage emerged of the Democratic presidential nominee in which her “knees buckled” as she left the commemorative event and was helped into a van by security staff. Both Mrs Clinton and her Republican rival Donald Trump’s health has been discussed during the campaign. Mr Trump, 70, said their health was “an issue” ahead of the November 8 election.
The billionaire businessman has also released health records, which say the 70-year-old is “overweight but in excellent physical health”.At 68, Mrs Clinton would be the United States’ second oldest president ever and Mr Trump would be the oldest.
