Mariusz Dudek and Dominika Lewandowska, both 24, from Obroki, Poland, had been looking forward to their wedding day in May this year with great anticipation, as they prepare and plan towards it.
But all their dreams have been cut short as they were both killed in a car crash as they were driving to another town to deliver their wedding invitations to friends and family.
The couple were involved in a head on collision with a car driven by a Catholic priest, Father Gregorz.
The two young lovers described as inseparable by their friends, have left their families mourning the sad loss.
Witnesses told police that the priest tried to overtake a tractor and plowed right into the couple’s Audi, which was driving in the opposite direction. The couple and the priest were pronounced dead at the scene.
A police spokesperson said that the couple had wedding invitations in the back of the car and police have established that they were delivering them to guests.
A police spokesman said:
"Unfortunately, what should have been a day of great joy will now be a huge loss."
